“FC Carolina Alliance provides youth soccer training and development to players of all ages, genders and abilities. We foster commitment, teamwork, and sportsmanship, with a goal of achieving FUN and rewarding experiences, that encourage the development of well rounded young adults.”
FC Carolina Alliance (FCCA) was founded in 1997 formerly known as Cabarrus Soccer Association. As a US Youth Soccer Association and a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, our purpose was to promote and advance youth soccer opportunities in the greater metro Charlotte area.In 2004, the club decided to merge with Tri-County Football Club and form FC Carolina Alliance. Today, FCCA is one of the fastest growing soccer associations, offering programs at the Pre-Academy, Academy, Challenge and Classic levels. With over 70 competitive teams, the club has broadened its programs into the Rowan, Stanly, and Mecklenburg Counties. FCCA is governed by volunteer Executive Board of Directors as well as the full time staff- Directors of Coaching. The Directors of Coaching oversee the development of the players, vision of the club, and continued outreach into the communities. Working alongside the Directors of Coaching are the great staff of professional coaches, and full time administrative staff who handle the day to day operations of the club. Altogether we strive to “provide youth soccer training and development to players of all ages, genders, and abilities. We foster commitment, teamwork, and sportsmanship, more importantly a goal of achieving FUN and rewarding experiences that encourage the development of well rounded young adults.”It is our goal to development better soccer players, as well as assisting in the development of our members into adulthood. In order to achieve this goal the club has obtained some of the most professional and experienced coaching staffs in North Carolina. With over 15 college coaches on staff and numerous coaches with prestigious coaching licenses and collegiate and professional playing experience. Furthermore, we strive to instill into our members that, through hard work, determination, commitment, and teamwork we all can achieve great success
Player Development
FCCA is widely considered as one of the best youth soccer organizations in the state of North Carolina. The club emphasizes quality and integrity throughout the organization. In addition to the training the members receive with their respective teams, we also offer more advanced training experiences. All players have the opportunity to participate in our Speed, Agility, and Technique (SAT) training and Goalkeeper training.
SAT Training
The SAT training is run by professionally trained coaches and focuses on three main components: Speed, Agility and Technique. The SAT program involves a series of training blocks and soccer specific exercises designed to enhance the player’s technique, strength and power. It also increases their quickness, explosiveness, and active and reactive speed. This better equips our FCCA players to remain competitive despite the constant change of direction and pace of the game.
Goalkeeper Training
Goalkeepers have very specific roles and responsibilities and require specific training to help develop further. This training is provided by professional coaches with outstanding experience and knowledge in the area of goalkeeping. The training focuses on technical, tactical, and situational development in a fun but competitive environment.
Over the years FCCA has formed alliances with local colleges and universities such as UNC Charlotte, Catawba College and Stanly County Community College to ensure appropriate development and exposure our players to the next soccer level. FCCA prides itself on the quality of coaching our players receive, especially focusing on the four main domains of development in soccer- technical, tactically, physical, and psychological growth. Ultimately, the end result to our success can be seen at our U18 level where 75% of our players continue their career at prestigious DI, DII, and DIII colleges and universities.
Facilities
We have access to some of the best facilities in North Carolina both artificial and lush Bermuda grass fields. Our fields are manicured every year and maintained on a monthly basis to ensure quality. Each complex has access to lights and access to the public is limited in order to ensure the quality of our facilities.
